X ![]() View room information for Ridgeway Beta
Beta is a non-traditional style hall, housing most residents in four room suites with double rooms that share a bathroom. Each room has its own exterior door. This unique design resembles a mountain chalet among the trees. The four room suite style has traditionally been a favorite among sophomores and upper-class residents returning to the residence halls. Beta's environment lends itself to the easy development of tight friendships among suitemates. A lounge with a big screen TV and piano is located in Beta. A small lounge and kitchenette are available on most floors as well. A sauna is available for residents of Beta and Gamma. Covered and locked bike storage is available. Beta is part of the larger Beta-Gamma community. Typical Student RoomsDouble rooms, Suite Style Lounges

Beta-Gamma Community ActivitiesThe Beta-Gamma buildings have a unique mountain chalet styled construction, along the ridge and among the trees. The suite style of the halls lends itself easily to the development of tight friendships among suitemates and stack mates. Beta-Gamma residents are encouraged to become active members of their residence hall, campus, and local communities. The staff works to provide opportunities for service learning, leadership development, and continued learning opportunities on issues of interest to an upper-class population (ex. scholarships, resume writing, internships, Peace Corp, women's issues, politics, and faculty interaction to name a few).
